About Me
My name is Harry Ding. I am an aviation enthusiast based in California. I would describe my planespotting journey starting in 2017 when I got my first phone, registered for my first Instagram account, and started posting pictures of planes I took from my trips. Besides planespotting, I also like to swim and play the cello.
A majority of photos on this website were taken from planespotting trips to the airport. I shoot with a Canon EOS R6 Mark II with a Canon Rf 100-500mm lens.
Why?
Airports have had this mysterious attraction to me ever since I was young. There are no trips more exciting than going to the airport. I always think pictures record history. One plane may be seen flying the other day but then retired suddenly, or the livery of the plane can be changed shortly after the pictures were taken. These pictures will become a part of history, recording the most glorious parts of its life.
